Review:

This is the second night of the two Milan concerts in 1984. Queen gave only two concerts in Italy and there has been a lot of confusion which concert was the first night and which was the second. Although the cover on "WWLY" says September 14th 1984 it is actually the second show. The first night they played Staying Power and this concert does not have that. That fact has been confirmed by people who attented the both shows (lucky them ;)! ). The second night Freddie sang Mustapha Intro to Dragon Attack and this show has that so this is actually the second night. There are two bootlegs from the 1st night. They are called "Let Me Show In" and "The Jewels". Let Me Show In" doesn't have Bohemian Rhapsody but The Jewels has, and to confuse you all even more, the end of both "We Will Love You " and "The Jewels/Let Me Show In" are from the first night.. So, from Bohemian Rhapsody onwards this bootleg is from the 14th of Sept show. Quality is Excellent (audience). The correct ending to the second show can be found below, on a bootleg called "Elisabeth II".

Live Aid really is a legendary performance. Freddie's voice sounds so good as he had time to give it a rest after the Spring tour of '85. As it has been said afterwards, Queen really stole the show that night. In Radio Ga Ga you can hear how all the 80,000 people claps their hands during the chorus. Very Good + sounboard recording. Note that Is This The World We Created? is not as good quality. Brian and Freddie got up to the stage on the next day after Queen's performance and played it but unfortunately there are strange backstage voices?!?! during the last half of it.

Review:

This is the correct ending to the second night in Milan 1984. We Will Love You is the second night recording until Crazy Little Thing Called Love. From that on it is the first night. This Elisabeth II has the genuine ending but it misses Jailhouse Rock. Hopefully some day we will get that one too. If you compare for example the GSTQs from We Will Love You and Elisabeth II they are different. But on both Freddie talks about Milan so that confirms that this is the correct second show. This is obviously an incomplete recording. Comes from vinyl so very slight crackles in some spots.
